Farmhouse Kitchen

 Some new kitchen accents.
 I was so tired of staring at the plain wall beside my cupboard-so I decided to do something about it this morning.
Now, we will soon be replacing this cupboard with a 4x7 cupboard that we are 'building' ourselves-fingers crossed that it will have the look I am hoping for!

      lol YES! Heather I did! I took down the peg board from another room-I went around and collected some goodies and put them together in that spot-I'm quite happy with that old farmhouse look! :))

      Sarah, can you believe I picked it up on a junk run? In our area we have junk pick up in the spring and before the garbage trucks get out we drive and hope to pick up! and we scored big time! I saw this bench along with another one and I was thrilled! We found a dining set with 6 chairs!! On my facebook I have an album called FREE Roadkill finds-you should check it out! ~and I cannot believe how much buzz that little bench has created! it caught the eye of many! :))

    You added the perfect touches! I love it when on a whim, I grab a few things and put them together, and then...Wow! You have to look at it everytime you walk by it. It's such a satisfying and creative feeling!

We have 5 kids and our pantry is overflowing (that's what we are using that cupboard for)and we are in need of a much bigger cupboard-so I REALLY hope the end result has that aged appearance just like the one you see here-now if we could only find time to get it done! :/
